182 SQUARE FOOT PICO DWELLING IN SEATTLE

Small spaces come in all shapes and sizes. For some, it’s all about the storage, for other’s it’s all in the many ways to utilize one area as many. For a former airplane designer who knows a whole lot about compact spaces and great design, this closet turned Pico Dwelling proved to be a work of art as well.

Steve Sauer’s home has some great volume to it, but for 182 square feet of space, you’d hope that there’s a little something to brighten it all up. Not only is there volume, but the interior features plenty of creature comforts we all know and love: a dishwasher, bathroom (with shower), and even two beds! Each and every furniture piece serves a specific purpose, and all items inside have been modified in some way shape or form to make it all work and look like a Seattle work of art at that.
