They say that everything is bigger in Texas. That certainly rings true for one grandparent’s household in Dallas. The homeowners and James Curan decided to build out a dreamy treehouse for their grandkids, and the outcome certainly doesn’t disappoint. Pretty much its own independent home from the main house, this “play house” is a mansion of treehouses.
Multi-level decks, multiple staircases, rope ladders and a giant Pecan tree are just a part of this wondrous equation. And like any interior in Texas, the treehouse comes equipped with its own air conditioning and refrigerator, perfect for the humidity that occurs throughout the year. It is 100 square feet overall, complete with found and collected children’s toys and vintage items. An elevated sleeping loft with a window is the complete package as far as naps are concerned.
