CONCRETE ARCHITECTS IN AMSTERDAM’S RED LIGHT DISTRICT

It’s not often that an architecture firm and the words “red light district” are in the same sentence, but that’s certainly the case when it comes to Concrete Architects located in Amsterdam. This Netherlands based company has a wonderful contemporary spot in the midst of all the action.

The four-story locale houses 35 employees, and while it keeps a bright and contemporary vibe, there are plenty of industrial touches to keep things dark and interesting at the same time. The exterior is a great juxtaposition to their inherent surroundings, too– a rectangular facade and less historical looking outside clearly distinguish Concrete from their surrounding neighbors.
