This 2,900 square foot tri-level home is one that was built around the wants and needs of a small family, and the results are not only what they wanted in a home– but it is visually stunning as well. Gus Wüstemann architects built this clean and sleek home that opens up to views of Lake Zurich, and there’s even a pool to help enjoy the woodsy views down the hillside.
The first level is made solely for the children and their spaces open up to the outdoor patio and garden, while the middle level houses the public family areas and the upper portion of the home is geared toward the parents’ quarters. Though the facade isn’t completely made of glass, the rear portion that opens up to nature is mainly glazing to allow natural light and gorgeous views be framed by the overlooking windows.
