Blocky Architecture isn’t always done right, but when it is– these spaces can be truly captivating and hide the bulky structure with some sleek details. TRU Architects created this beautiful cherry blossom home in South Korea that has a rectilinear structure and simple finishes in an old cherry blossom field.
The home itself is light and bright, with the exterior heralding a large peaked roof that overhangs on the sides and extends heavily at the front facade to provide a covered porch. The interior space is open and airy, with a loft up above in the peak of the tall ceiling. There’s even a secret little gem on top of the tall structure, a rooftop terrace that overlooks the serene land and blue skies.
