There’s something to be said about mixing and melding different periods and eras of architecture, and we think that combining Victorian pieces with a more modern approach is a beautiful expression of the art in architecture. Scott Architects achieved greatness with this sweet little ‘De Beauvior Road’ residence of the Hackney, London area.
An extension of the lovely terraced home extends off of the rear, with a curvilinear style structure that intertwines with the old era of space. The new additions were planned to be more of a garden extension, to reflect the immediate landscaping with the natural material selection and organic shapes. A green roof system was utilized as a solution in order to keep with the sustainability factor as well as make the architecture less intrusive.
