Located in Szymbark (Shimbark), Poland, this home looks like your average cabin if you’re not looking at it right side up. But if your feet are planted on the ground– the home is upside down. Architect Daniel Chapevski has created this space as a piece of symbolism in Poland.
According to Chapevski, the home was crafted to showcase the past and current state of communism in Poland. Though it isn’t the only upside down structure to ever be built, the angle that it’s at allows people to walk inside and experience walking on the ceiling. Viewers claim feeling sick and a bit dizzy when inside this Polish cabin style home, but it’s certainly one of those amazing things not to be missed.
