If you’ve ever had the opportunity of a lifetime to travel to the Palace of Versailles, you know the awe and feeling of overwhelming grandeur that’s within the huge historic structure. Through all of the various chambers, halls and ornate decor is a new installation by none other than Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec.
The creative gurus have been a part of many different projects, but this Swarovski chandelier is a crowning jewel — not only to their portfolio, but to Versailles as well. This large light installation is comprised of more than 800 large Swarovski ‘beads’ (if you will), that are all strung on a steel wire body. This steel wire houses LED lighting that illuminates the dripping swag of beads ever so elegantly.
