India may not be the most proficient countries in terms of technological advancements– but the people sure are intelligent, and resourceful. Manasaram Architects created the Bamboo Symphony office building out of natural materials in Bangalore, India. For a small office that looks like a sustainable home, this place looks like a serene dream to work out of each day.
A majority the space was crafted from mud brick and bamboo, among debris, wood, aggregate, stone and other natural material. The roof has its own sloping form that allows for rain water to runoff into the small round pond that lies in the courtyard/backyard of this beautiful built environment. A huge portion of this built space is indoor/outdoor, with the roof’s overhang being the main blocking factor from the elements.
