If there’s one thing that’s more beautiful about this home aside from its aesthetics, it is the planning behind it. Natural light and mother nature’s time clock were all taken into account when creating this home by Future Studio. Hiroshima, Japan, is where this residence is located and the unique shape and design all play a part in the overall look and feel.
The home’s cylindrical shape allows for light to filter in at all angles and at all times of the day, even without the south side able to garner some direct sunlight of its own. Multiple stories are strategically designed with light in mind, and a mezzanine area allows for a beautiful open plan and plenty of natural light to take over. Organic forms really help with this, as do the light interior walls allowing light to reflect and travel all over the minimalist home.
