Anytime we see or hear the word ‘Acero‘ we are already impressed. This Madrid firm’s quality of creative and contemporary work is unsurpassed, and with a home titled ‘balcony’ we knew it was right up our alley. The facade of this space is similar to the Los Angeles Disney Concert Hall with a more understated elegance. But the curves and slightest undulations of the exterior make it a difficult place to look past.
The home has more organic shapes on one end of the outside than the more straight lined, extruded components of the opposite side (which includes a pool). The interior has got its clean lined qualities as expected, with a great use of materials in both the kitchen and living areas. Lighting, as always, is a great focal point in all of the rooms as well. Neutral hues really play up the beauty of the architecture in this Spanish contemporary home.
