Starbucks happens to be on just about every corner (it seems) in the United States. Though each design is beautiful in its own right, this particular location in Amsterdam’s Flower Market area has a unique flair of its own. The Flower Market is an historic area of Amsterdam, and the interior created by the Starbucks team was a special spot to honor the culture and city of this central coffee location.
Rich green hues show up in the glass jars, chair frames and incredible marble throughout, while the rustic bricks, wood planks and simple floors offset the busy interior. Though the space is small, it creates the perfect focal point with a large painted floral mural on the wall opposite the entry. There’s a discreet world map painted on the interior brick wall, and the overall aesthetic gives that sense of home while still pertaining to another culture.
