Home additions aren’t always the easiest accomplishment in the terms of remodels, but this particular extension on a small home in France looks as if it went along more smoothly than one would assume. With the original spot not incurring much of a change for the remodel, the area affected on the interior was minimal.
The small piece that Picquet Architecte added on is fondly known as “Extension C” and really only offers up a bit more of kitchen space as well as an eat-in dining space for the residents. This small little corner is the perfect spot to enjoy some breakfast, a coffee, or a late night snack. Views to the lush garden are seen at all angles, with floor to ceiling glass and an operable window in the facade of this home addition.
Located in St. Louis, France, the home offers up a sweet little surprise out back of a seemingly unsuspecting residence.
