Sleep pods are a great addition to a space that will really open up the floor and allow for more storage space, a concealed sleeping area and even some parts to display things. Sibling of Australia has designed a prototype that’s currently being tested out as a live/work combination.
With multiple pods placed in a large footprint warehouse space, there’s also a work dynamic thrown in. Great for nomadic young people, the dens can be disassembled and re-built wherever you choose to land next. Various openings in the wood built shell offer natural light the chance to seep into the bedroom portion, while multiple facets of the exterior provide a spot to place clothes and shoes, books, and even house a workspace.
