Vacation homes tend to be a little bit more outlandish than the everyday home of its owners. Located in the Czech Republic, this home is situated just on the edge of a pond in an area that was once a spot for industry in the European country.
OK Plan Architects created this little home as a seasonal spot for sleep overs, and its end result resembles a fish to a certain extent. Its structure is dark and linear, with a soft white canopy built over the top to leave a wide ‘mouth’ opening that’s great for views out onto the water. Waterproof plywood and other materials were used in the construction to keep any idea of water damage away from the small, yet coveted interior.
