Florida is known for some off the wall architecture, unique color combinations and all around interesting designs. Architects Sweet Sparkman compiled a beautiful work of architecture for this guest home in Osprey, Florida to blend in seamlessly with its surroundings but still have a beautifully unique and organic identity.
Known as the ‘Casey Key Guest House,’ this quaint little residence is easy to access via the main home, although it is technically offsite and nestled amongst the mature oaks of the property. Part of the programming requirements were that the home be “in the trees.” Natural woods create the curved effect of the architecture and the home is elevated and one side arched to match with the existing oaks. Consequently, the space is small but provides all necessities that a guest would need (and much more!) as well as gorgeous water and tree lined views.
