A local Colorado home was built by Studio H:T with the environment in mind. Architects created this small residence based on the questions and planning principles of sustainability and space efficiency.
A centrally built structure serves as the main hub for this home, while two shipping containers flank either side to provide the more private areas on the inside. The materials are simple and clean while still remaining beautiful and colorful– on both the exterior and interior. The home sits up on a huge ridge in Nederland, CO, with all kinds of off-the-grid elements. Solar roof panels, a green roof, passive cooling and more all help with the environmental concerns of this dwelling.
