This tiny little residence sits nestled on a narrow lot of Fitzroy in Melbourne, Australia; and the interior looks much more spacious than the exterior would imply. The renovated space was spearheaded by Edwards Moore Architecture, and the outcome is a gorgeous, natural space with plenty of light and a raw rustic feel.
Separating courtyard spaces allow the interior spaces to be at a disconnect to have a more separate, private living quarters. The interior finish is an interesting an unique touch– with walls that are a combination of brick and all white additions. There are touches of history in this home, too, with gold panels placed in inconspicuous locations so as not to be obtrusive. This home is the perfect urban retreat with an old world feel.
