Art is everywhere. From the ice caps of the North Pole to the beaches of Miami– and literally everywhere in between. Artist and photographer Léo Caillard has taken it upon himself to interpret a series of lifeguard towers as Miami ‘homes.’ In each photograph, the towers stand out due to the blank sandy beach canvas, and cool waters in the distance.
All with a similar or same base, these astoundingly same appearances look to be one in the same– but actually have just enough variation to make you analyze each one individually. As Miami is decorated throughout the entire city with plenty of Art Deco motifs, minty and sherbert colorings, and eccentric pairings– it all correlates, down to the lifeguard’s quarters.
