This dynamic space by Brooks + Scarpa Architecture is nothing short of gorgeous in terms of visual aesthetics and green design, too. Large, social areas of this “yin-yang” house are the main focus of the space; while bedrooms take a modest back seat to the collaborative functions of the interior.
Much of this home’s interior opens up to the private outdoor areas, including a spacious yard with a pool. A partially green roof sits atop one of the rectilinear structures, while the interior materials and finishes are all at the very least recycled. Solar panels help with the heating and cooling of the interior while providing a beautifully cantilevered architectural element.
