Antiqued Iron Bar Crafted From A 1920s Light Bulb Tester

So much of what we are inspired by today has come before us in a cyclical fashion. Back when light bulbs were new on the market, Germans had big, bulbous machines for testing light bulb voltage. Now that these large machines are unnecessary in the present times, they’re making a comeback in a new, funky way.

These 1920s testers are now being replicated and repurposed as a (stationary) bar cart that holds just about whatever you need for a good night of entertaining at home. With a hinged segment you’ve got access to it all. Stemware, shelving and even wine bottle storage are all encompassed in this tripod iron base. It’s a generous 39×46 inches and over 5 feet tall!
