Sitting at just under 1,000 square feet, the House of Hiyoshi by EANA Architects is a space that was built as simply as possible for its owners. The residence is hardly on a large plot of land, located on a ‘peninsula’ type strip in Kangawa, Japan. The home is a great size for two, with the room and design for the family to expand to three.
The hilltop home has multiple levels with the upper level housing the open kitchen and living space that are engulfed by one huge square shaped glazing to view the park to the North. The upstairs houses a shortened ceiling height and accommodates a roof balcony, while the lowest level houses the entry, bathroom and bedrooms.
