Basic 'Diogene' Shelter by Renzo Piano for Vitra

Aluminum cladding and wood paneling. This tiny home that is self-sustainable and completely off the grid still features beautiful finishes courtesy of renowned architect Renzo Piano. The Diogene space is completely thought out, from the prefab structure to the integrated storage and rolling shades– and is only about 80 square feet.

A skylight takes over one portion of the triangular home, which happens to be right above the sleeping area. Directly across from that lies a series of foldable workspaces and another triple paned window. This tiny space took 3 years and an incredible amount of planning to create, and now it is installed on the Vitra campus to visit and learn more.
