Putting pattern into a space can be deathly terrifying for some, and an east feat for others. If you’ve been up on the chevron pattern trend for awhile now or are just finding out about it– Chevron can be a great play on space.
Applying chevron patterns to a small, narrow wall makes a great impact in a minimal amount of space, and adding it to the floor in a tile, marble or wood material creates a wow factor. Ceilings are also awesome when they’ve got the chevron stylings attached– creating a great visual line for anyone trying to guide eyes out onto an amazing view.
This pattern can be as busy or as subtle as you’d like. Use neutrals or tone-on-tone colors to keep the contrast low. Rich woods laid in a herringbone/chevron pattern also make for a dramatic look when you’ve got an all white interior. Go for a dramatic exclamation with stark whites and navy, green or fuchsia tones and keep furnishings simple if you’re feeling brave.
