18th Century Church Turned English Abode

There have been a few churches and cathedrals turned homes and other spaces in the past, but not many have seemed so authentic as this Kyloe, Northumberland based church– complete with a cemetery. Staying true to the 1792 architectural style left a whole lot of gorgeous stained glass gothic style windows and other structural elements.

Though the 1792 version may not have had running water, electricity or any other modern conveniences, the couple spent a hefty penny transforming what once was into something fantastic. The gothic arches and amazing ceilings are now complemented by furnishings, a bed sits in the sanctuary and the open space even offers up an additional room upstairs.
