This South facing home in Spain sits just above the Miño River with a gorgeous composition about it. Built mostly of glass and concrete, the space is an elongated one with views out either side for the appreciation of location and also divvy it up into three parts within the existing land.
Architect Quico Jorreto planned the home with a rectilinear upper level pool that surrounds an upper living area and sits just above the courtyard. This upper room is warmly titled “The Eye” where a true panoramic view is available to see out to the river and beyond in this supreme setting. The interior is chock full of mid century modern Eames furniture pieces in all types, sizes and colors which really help this gorgeous space not to feel stuffy and uncomfortable.
