Singapore’s Longhouse at Dalvey Estate by Aamer Architects

Who wouldn’t want to live in a home that doubles as a gorgeous work of art? With the amazing composition of this home and all of its detailed facets, it’s hard not to fall head over heels in love with this Aamer Architects built home.

The Dalvey Estate is a great fusion of native island touches and contemporary architecture rolled into one. While a portion of it is meant to be a reinterpretation and modern day look at the traditional Longhouse, this estate is very much a unique piece that stands out on its own. Sleek finishes overtake the interior, and materials are all simple, glossed to perfection and complementary of the furnishings. Of course the mosaic tiled pool and public spaces are an integral part of the design, with private areas being more secluded from the congregational space.
