Prefabricated architecture has come a long way, and is still making huge strides and advancements in technology. Doted as “Casa Pentimento,” architect Jose Maria Saez came up with a way to cast concrete pieces in a way that allows them to be assembled in any way you please.
The residence starts with a platform where steel rods are inserted vertically and the concrete pieces are placed in a LEGO style four position assembly. The composition of the facade is solely up to the user, with greenery that can be inserted in multiple points. There are no regular walls, so the interior portions can be used for shelving and display (if at all). The exterior stacking elements create thin gaps to let light filter in and keep air circulating.
