An amazing old 3,000 square foot warehouse formerly used by American Express was the canvas for Schappacher White‘s residential project in Tribeca, New York. Transforming the age old building into a loft style residence was their challenge, and they rose to it, keeping everything in line with the original style and feel of the interior.
Materials in this space are a huge part of the design. Each and every piece was either selected as an old reclaimed piece, or crafted to look the part of an aged material. Steel panels for the wall, custom lighting, wired glass and specially treated oak all make up parts of this residence that make it feel like the perfectly old, restored loft for living.
