The California Wine Country is an unprecedented location, and if there’s one thing to take advantage of in these vast valleys– it’s the views. Gorgeous surroundings and mountainous views abound are plentiful in this Kenwood region, and Edmonds + Lee certainly took advantage of it all with their Summerhill Residence design.
Situated as two mimicking buildings and a garage for a total of 3 on the same plot, the home is rectangular in form with angular cuts to reveal glazing and a look into the inside. The two similar spaces are a guest house and a main home, keeping privacy at a maximum for sleeping quarters. Interior furnishings and finishes are simple for the most part, showcasing different finished woods and neutral seating.
