A gorgeous non-traditional place of worship by Gijs Van Vaarenbergh in Belgium, the “Read Between The Lines” Church is a gorgeous structure no matter the purpose. The entire building appears to be completely transparent, almost a figment of the imagination.
Though it may not look like it, the structure is comprised of more than 30 tons of steel, 2000 columns and plenty of concrete along with the lengthy horizontal plates. Though much of the artwork can be left up to interpretation, there can be many inferences drawn from its meaning. The lack of churches in this area can be seen in the “emptiness” of this space, and the architectural end result is simply magnificent.
