This concrete gallery style home was designed in part by Fuse Atelier for a couple in Abiko, Japan. The interior is sparse yet beautiful and at a mere 575 square feet, all of the beauty is in the architectural details.
The exterior facade of this residence takes the cake in some instances, with its multiple facets, narrow base and large rectilinear window opening on the upper level. Part of the cantilevered structure is built in such a way that creates shaded spaces on the ground floor. The finishes are at a bare minimum, with only concrete, glossy white floors to keep it light and bright, and a dark rich wood for built ins.
