Small spaces typically aren’t equipped with the square footage one might need for a separate dining or living space, a bedroom with four walls and a door, or even a chef’s kitchen (go figure!). With small spaces becoming more of the norm, their inhabitants are getting much more inventive in the way they live. If it means a furniture hack or two, a double duty furniture piece or inventing your own standard– originality is where it’s at.
Julia Kononenko of the Ukraine has come up with a most magnificent convertible furniture design for some of the bulkiest pieces of the home. The piece starts as one and folds up into a sofa, while when needed, it then transforms into a dining table with six cushioned stools.
