It can be difficult to find the perfect piece of furniture at times. Seating can be a tricky task, especially for those with specific tastes, certain body types and budgets. While a side or coffee table that can be handmade, Andreu Carulla came up with an interesting concept for converting any old object into a functional stool.

Titled “The Stooler,” the contraption is a series of four wooden post legs and four ratchet buckles that tighten up around whatever you choose to stuff in between. Whether it’s an exercise ball, bunch of old t-shirts, vintage newspaper articles or bale of hay; The Stooler is sure to be a catalyst to the solution.
