In a landscape that is less than enthralling, the “Introverted House” by XPIRAL is a great switch up from the norm in this Murcia, Spain neighborhood. Following an organic curve of its own, the home creates its own visual interest in a private courtyard that the home wraps around.
Concrete, steel and wood are the main proponents of this home’s construction, creating a great balance between materials and allowing natural light to flood in in any possible way. A cantilevered section of the home as well as a corridor that spirals around the home’s edge allows for many possibilities in and around the home. A rooftop swimming pool tops it all off to make the sunset view that much more pleasurable.
