Australia’s K House isn’t exactly an accident. ARM Architecture‘s project, built in 2006, consists of a contemporary residence that is built with the letter “K” in mind. Grey timber and hot red accents really help this home to stand out amongst the natural landscape, and its contemporary edge doesn’t hurt either.
Leveraging the negative space as well as the built area, the K for the K Mart brand was transformed into a home for this Aussie family on the Surf Coast. Sharp angular edges jut out over the first floor’s edges and even take advantage of the gorgeous blue views.
