The Netherlands offers some of the best unobstructed views available. With their constant desire to allow more natural light into their spaces via large, expansive windows it’s not hard to create beautiful homes. Hans van Heeswijk Architects is behind the gorgeous Rieteiland House that features panoramic views and an amazing glazed facade.

The side of the house that faces the street is a complete 180 from the rear, featuring perforated aluminum panels to give the residents more privacy and an opportunity to flip them open if need be. With a perfectly linear structure, both inside and out– the furnishings pretty much follow suite. Majorly concrete, stainless steel and wood finishes are shown throughout, with touches of mid century modern furniture pieces to keep things classic and not over the top.
