It’s important for a home that revolves around art to be built and poised to hold such worldly possessions. With the Yucatan House in São Paulo, Brazil, that’s just what Architect Isay Weinfeld did. This contemporary gem in the Jardim America neighborhood is a home truly built for this art collecting inhabitant.
An array of architectural “boxes” were built together to give the home a sculptural feel, with modules for rooms, living spaces, a gym and more. The back portion of the house is open to a gorgeous garden and an interesting natural pool. This pool uses, reuses and treats water that incorporates fish and various water plant species.
