Historical buildings can be difficult to work with in modern day settings where renovation might be required, requested or a luxury in order to repurpose the building altogether. For this old church in Washington, D.C., the only renovations performed were the exterior paining that was done by graffiti artist Hense.
Hense transformed this space into a beautiful piece of art that will sit across a future museum and other hot spots in this up and coming area of DC. This large scale composition features all sorts of sprayed elements, large dots, stripes and a wide array of colors. The end result is a gorgeous mixture of color and pattern with a mural style all on a building facade.
