It’s not often that one gets the pleasure of boasting about an overnight stay in a beer barrel. If you’re a lover of various brews and are traveling to Germany– a beer barrel stay is a must.
After 1995 when the barrels were no longer in use for their traditional purposes, they became repurposed into a limited number of beds for a unique nightly stay. Located in Ostbevern, Germany, the hotel has a total of 3 beer rooms on site, where a couple can enjoy an interesting stay in a 19th Century barrel. Each beer room comes equipped with a flat screen TV, a shower and two additional beds.
