Books might be a thing of the past to some of those who have converted their entire libraries to digital readers, iPads, Kindles and Nooks. But there are still a great deal of people who find the great beauty and wisdom in a collection of books to be a great decorative element as well.
This home in London was designed by Platform 5 around a very vast book collection that incorporated books into the entire hallway, stairwell and upper mezzanine loft of this old oak, brick and concrete home. The height in this library-esque arrangement allows for the space to remain light and open while housing a whole slew of books.
