‘Build Up Japan’ Collaboration Showcases 1.8 Million LEGOs

LEGO based projects have become a dime a dozen these days, and with access to so many new projects and ideas like never before– each project is bigger and better than the last. This project titled “Build Up Japan” was a great collaborative effort between a total of 5,000 people and a huge 3D map of Japan was the end result.

The twist on this particular collaboration was that the kids and volunteers across the workshop were allowed to come up with their own artistic interpretations of what they would like Japan to look like– instead of only re-creating existing structures. This clearly let imaginations run freely and the end result was a stunning display of art from our future creators!
