Small footprint homes are an ever growing trend that seems to be popular whether you are reducing your own footprint or are living in an ultra expensive area like New York or San Francisco. In this case, Treehugger‘s own Grant Hill came up with an inventive way to fit everything needed and then some within his small 420 square foot space in the city of New York.
“Life Edited” is a project that is equal parts beautiful and functional. With 8 spaces all fitting neatly within one another in this tiny SoHo studio, it’s hard not to double take. The living room, office, bedroom and dining room (that seats 10) all converge into each other’s respective spaces. A guest room is also made possible, with the obligatory kitchen and bathroom areas in tow.
