Marcel Wanders is one of the great designers that can incorporated just about any sort of surreal furniture into a space to create a fun, functional and interesting design. Though his style isn’t for everyone, Wanders has been heralded as an icon– with his Bisazza and Bo Concept collaborations, to name just a few.
Wanders’ latest amazing project just so happens to be in the hospitality field, with the Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht opening its doors for business. The 122 room boutique style hotel offers guests a look into Dutch history in an up-to-date fashion– by incorporating it into the design. It’s located in the Jordaan district which is also home to other high end, modern art and fashion locales nearby.
