Dan Goldstein is a creator who’s got an ingenious product on the pages of Kickstarter, a website that allows people like you and I fund various creative projects from around the world. With already $15,990 pledged toward his $10,000 goal, it’s safe to say that his “Re-Ply” cardboard chair is a hot commodity in the design community. Goldstein has collected various cardboard boxes from furniture manufacturers that have in turn undergone a process that helps to make them stronger and molded into a contemporary styled recliner on a triangular steel base. The built prototypes utilize a 4-ply stacked cardboard pattern which is molded, set and then folded to fit the custom shape. Read more about Goldstein’s project and purchase one of your own, here.
