Japanese Garden Helium Balloon Suspended Bridge

Posted 2 years ago by

Art based architecture is usually the best kind, and Olivier Grossetête makes architecture look effortless with his helium installations. The latest happens to be a curiously integrated set of helium-filled balloons that support a suspended bridge.

Located in the Tatton Japanese Garden in the UK, this bridge is an elegant combination of gigantic balloons, plank steps and a very artfully draped shape. Titled ‘pont de singe’ this piece of work is a beautiful addition to any portfolio– especially as far is surrealism is concerned. While there’s no actual access to walk across the bridge, it is a beautifully surreal thought to wander away with.
