Micasa Labs seems to be backing all kinds of new and interesting furniture projects as of late, and they’ve added another modern approach to personal space to their repertoire. Cocoon 1 is the new way of interpreting your own personal ‘bubble’ (if you will), and it’s completely customizable with modular interior pieces.
A clear sphere in exterior form, Micasa’s Cocoon offers space for one as a portable unit. This one is company mentality allows the user to lounge and even cook within the piece. Cooking and other activities that might require power stem from a power pack module that can be inserted within the unit to allow for hours of all that it would take to prepare a meal. Amazing!
