Childhood Fort Inspired Pop-Up Clothing Shop

The beauty of the pop-up shop is that its typical small compact design allows for it to appear just about anywhere, and that’s exactly what Andy Tong did when he designed this MOMO Shop. Created out of discarded windows of all shapes and sizes, this little piece of wonderment was placed in the atrium of a shopping mall in Hong Kong, China.

Put together with an array of bubble wrap, glazing, MDF board and wood pieces, it all somehow fits together with a purpose and can easily be disassembled and taken to its next location. The inspiration behind it all was the ever-classic childhood fort, and with no signage and multiple entry ways and exits, Tong certainly evokes the feeling of the creative pastime.
