There’s no place like a sacred area for creation, and the “Archive” artist’s pavilion is the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor space. Situated out in the green landscape of Amsterdam, this space has a mirrored facade to camouflage it from any disturbances. HL Architecture created just the perfect spot for any artist’s studio.

The actual built interior of this contest winning design is minimal with an open courtyard with space to relax out in nature while remaining in solitude from anyone or anything that may be a distraction. The interior is outfitted with minimal furnishings, and its circular path lends itself to the pacing that sometimes comes with the thinking processes.
