With Dubai paving the way for popularity and excitement in underwater hotels and spaces, Poseidon Resorts is getting closer to actually achieving a submerged set of accommodations. Set to be located off of a Fijian Island, the impending hotel now has the engineering research and drawings underway, with a quest for funding happening now.
The idea behind this hotel happens to be that of a land and water combo hotel, with units separating the underwater and above water areas– each with access to the other. Lounges, suites, a conference room, library and even a wedding chapel are included in the design of the space. 24 of the suites will be submerged, and there will even be 26 on ground VIP suites to shack up in. And don’t forget about personal underwater submarine excursions for your $30,000 per week stay.
